The Timber Ridge Foundation would like to welcome everyone back for the 2013-2014 school year! We know it will be full of fun, learning, new friends and experiences! The Foundation would like to congratulate Mr. Adam Hill on being named our new Timber Ridge Principal! Mr. Hill has been a wonderful partner with the Foundation for the last two years and we look forward to continuing to work together to further the educational opportunities of every student at Timber Ridge!

The Foundation will have its Annual Foundation Drive from September 16^th  to October 18th.  Our goals this year include raising $55,000 and reaching a 65% participation rate. The TRF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, so your contribution is tax-deductible.  And if your employer provides matching contributions please let us know. Last year we raised over $8000 through employer matching funds.  The suggested contribution is $110 per child at Timber Ridge. If you are able to give more, please consider making the TRF one of your priorities for charitable giving. We will gladly receive donations in any amount! The Foundation coordinated After School Activities have begun. This year we are excited to bring you Brainy Builders, Brainy Bots, Challenge Island, Drama, Kid Chess and Spanish. If you missed registering your child for these activities, they will all be offered for a second session beginning in January. And remember, 10% of the fees are donated back to the Foundation.

The Foundation is very excited to announce an expanded list of partners for restaurant spirit nights. Please look for more information in Thursday Folders and e-flashes. We hope that your family will be able to participate in the spirit nights as a portion of the proceeds are donated back to the Foundation.

The Foundation would like to congratulate Kristi Elwart on all her hard work developing relationships with local businesses through our Community Sponsors Program.
