On behalf of the Timber Ridge Foundation I would like to wish all of our Timber Ridge families a Happy New Year! It’s hard to believe we are already at the middle of the year. Each year the school year seems to go by faster and faster. Hopefully, after our shortened first week back everyone is settling back in!

Even though it is only January, planning is underway for the 2014-2015 school year. The Foundation Board is looking for new members! If you are interested in exploring a role on the Foundation Board for the coming school years (it is a 2 year commitment), please contact me at meredithkramerhay@gamil.com. We have a specific need for experience and skills in the areas of Marketing Communications, Fundraising, Finance, Social Media and Business Networking.

Thank you to Baked for hosting the TRF’s December Spirit Night! This month we return to Uncle Maddio’s Pizza. The TRF was thankful for the huge show of support from our families during our fall Spirit Night, but realized that there is probably a better way to accomplish the same goal. So, next week we are hosting a 2 night Spirit Night with Uncle Maddios! We encourage families with children in grades K-2 to attend on Tuesday, Jan. 21 and those families with children in grades 3-5 to attend on Wednesday, Jan. 22. If you have children in multiple grades, or if the suggested night doesn’t work for your family schedule, please feel free attend either night.

Save the Date – Feb. 27th is the TRF Art Show!! Your students have been working with Mrs. Herndon to create their own masterpieces. Please plan to attend the Art Show where you can see your student’s framed art work. New this year: Cash or check only – no credit cards, slightly different frame, pre-sales $28, art at the door $30.
