We would like to extend a special thanks to Cheeky for donating an incredible Mexican lunch to the Timber Ridge staff on January 7th! The teachers were thrilled to enjoy a fajita buffet at their Teacher Workday, compliments of one of this year’s Foundation Business Loyalty Partners. Next time you’re at Cheeky in the Avenue, be sure to tell them you’re a Timber Ridge family and thank them for so generously supporting our school!

The second semester of After School Activities is underway. Many of the programs are already full, but there is still space available in Brainy Builders and Spanish, so sign up today! For more details, click on the After School Activities link.
We look forward to seeing you at the Foundation sponsored Art Show. Ms. Herndon and the children have worked very hard on their masterpieces and we are excited to show them off in the cafeteria from 5:30 to 7:30 on Thursday, February 28th. The framed pieces will be available for purchase, and 20% of the proceeds will go back to your Foundation. Look for more details in this month’s TR Times or in the form that was sent home in your child’s Thursday folder.
We will also host a final Chick-fil-A Spirit Night this school year on Tuesday, March 12th from 5 to 8 pm. Our November event was the most successful to date, bringing in $585 for the Foundation. Can we beat that number? We can with your help and participation! We hope to see you there, along with some of the Timber Ridge staff who will again so generously give of their time and help serve free ice cream! It’s always a great night to visit with friends and family – or you can always zoom through the drive through instead. Just remember to let them know you’re with Timber Ridge!
And a final plea to those of you whose employers provide corporate matching to the Foundation. The deadline is fast approaching to get your matching forms into your HR Department. Please don’t delay! Your donations can be doubled or even tripled in some cases! If you have any questions about the process, please contact Heather Prymak at psugsu@yahoo.com.
Again, you proved that together we can do more for our school, our teachers and our children. Thank you for your continued support of the Foundation. We look forward to seeing you at the Art Show in February and Chick-fil-A in March!
